Had a cracking time at the Abergwaun! The breakfast was honestly one of the best around—full of local charm! Plus, that lovely bar downstairs was a real treat after a long day of exploring. Seriously comfy beds too, perfect for a good night’s sleep.
Only downside? The noise level at night was a bit much. those walls could use a bit of soundproofing. My neighbor’s snoring was louder than a Fishguard seagull!

I truly loved how conveniently we were just a few steps from the vibrant Fishguard Artisan Market and the stunning Dyffryn Fernant Gardens, making it so easy to spend our days strolling through local culture and beautiful greenery, while the staff were genuinely lovely and the hotel was super clean with an excellent restaurant to top it all off.

The hotel employee communicated well on the phone, making check-in a breeze. The breakfast was of excellent quality, prepared fresh and served with a friendly smile. We really appreciated the cleanliness of our double room and the spacious layout. there were some noticeable issues that detracted from our experience. The lack of onsite parking created inconvenience. We struggled with the coffee pod machine since it only catered to pods and made it difficult to heat water for tea. we dealt with a brief hot water issue in our shower, which took some time to resolve. the place offered a good stay, but it could improve certain amenities to truly shine.
